Very convenient for the Philosopher's walk, Eikan-dō, Hōnen-in, and Ginkaku-ji. Buses into Kyoto took about half an hour. Great service when we left an item behind - they posted it on to our hotel in Osaka.

Excellent option!! affordable, comfy, clean, new, with traditional Japanese ryokan style. Like it very much since is so close to city transportation to go anywhere around Kyoto. For sure my first option if go back to Kyoto!!
