Location is not most convenient, but it was made up by the wonderful window view and the considerate shuttle bus service to train station every half hour. Room was clean and relatively spacious to most Japanese hotels. Front desk staffs were kind and helpf

- For me, the location is perfect because I planned to take a ferry to Sado Island on the next day. - There is shuttle bus service between Niigata JR station and hotel. But gotta walk a few mins from the station to get to the bus stop. The room is nice

If you want to take the boat to Sado island, this is a good location as only 7' walk to the boarding place. The room we got (semi double) was very small, so was the bed. However, with the price including breakfast, it was a fair deal for Japan.

Though location isn't ideal for sightseeing, hotel provided regular free shuttle services to Niigata JR Station, which was convenient. Service wise, thumbs up ! Staff were professional and spoke English. Extremely helpful and resourceful. Room was smal
