自然資源豐美、寬廣的用地內設有近代知名造園大師「森蘊」先生的作品。
・本住宿設施為宿坊(寺院客房)。
※「宿坊」是指提供給佛教僧侶居住或信眾留宿的住宿設施，如今也接受一般民眾入住。
宿坊與佛教寺院併設，工作人員及寺院僧侶都會接待住宿客人。
・預約附餐方案的客人，可在宿坊內享用精進料理(日式素齋)。
※精進料理源自佛教禁止殺生的戒律，僅使用蔬菜、豆類等植物類食材所烹製成的料理。
・住宿於本宿坊，您可體驗以下活動：
・抄經體驗：抄寫佛教經文。
・勤行體驗：參觀僧侶念經等儀式。(※每天早上6:30起)

很喜欢高野山的寺院。安静、简朴。如果以普通商务或者酒店标准来评判高野山寺院的设施的话，估计没有一家能上到3星以上的。但是就寺院该有的氛围和起居要求来看，持明院还是能得到很高的评价的。房间虽小，隔音却很好。这个主要建筑四周都是一步一景的树木山水。早上的晨课很庄重。

环境特别好，车站就在院门口，我们在冬天较冷的淡季去的，基本没什么住客，房间有暖桌和暖气炉，但走廊上就会比较冷了。僧人十分友善周到耐心，早晚餐的精进料理相当美味，日式公共澡堂也是很特别的体验，早上早起晨读晚上还可以抄写经书。这真的是一次很难忘的体验，下次来高野山还会选择这里的。

房间很好很干净。服务也热情。日式料理的早餐和晚餐都很精致和美味。芝麻豆腐真是好吃，米饭也好吃。 大浴场只有下午5点半至晚上10点之间开放。我们的房间只能一般洗漱和照镜子，如厕需要使用公共的，洗澡要去大浴场。但是这些没有觉得不方便。公共的都很干净卫生。 遗憾的是，我们的房间在二楼，我们的硕大的行李箱真是很困难的才被搬运了上去。日式建筑的楼梯狭窄还很陡，这难度。。。 窗外就是寺庙的花园，但是窗前有一棵树，繁茂的枝叶挡住了所有的美景，因此有些遗憾。 早上我们参加了早课，很好的体验。 十分推荐！

We had a lovely stay at this temple. It was a quite big room with a wonderful view to the garden. The meals were very tasty and the staff super friendly and nice. We had wished to stay longer, maybe next time. It's highly recommended!

Jimyoin was really bad. It is not authentic at all and you can see the owners are just here to get tourists’ money, not to offer monks’ hospitality. It is basically a super expensive hotel with poor facilities and bad service.
