EXCELLENT EXPERIENCE

A lovely old fashioned hotel, surrounded by trees, and just above Lake Chuzenji. Service was attentive and kind, and the French dinner and Japanese breakfast superb. Beds were comfy and the view of the lake through the trees enchanting, though I understand that when trees are fully leafed in summer this view is blocked. We arrived by Tobu bus and walked up to the back entrance from the main road, the shortest route. This access point needs to be improved as the stair railing is very rickety and random stones provide a step up to the back corridor entrance.

Fantastic location and food to match. Unfortunately it is not near a major train station but there is a bus stop in front of the hotel.
Staff are very helpful and provide great service.

호텔로서 온천을 빼고 모든 장소에서 유카타착용이 제한되어있어 불편하며, 조식및 석식으로 제공되는 서양식이 가격에 비하여 별로 좋지가 않습니다. 침대 또한 이가격대 호텔치고는 형편없습니다. 온천은 유황천으로 좋으며, 주겐지호반에 있어 오쿠니코관광시 위치상으로는 좋으나, 다시 니코를 간다면 유모토온천지역의 료칸에 머물겠습니다. 가격대비 서비스와 음식이 아주 불만스러운 호텔이라고 봅니다.
