1. Participants of this tour can receive stamps, called goshuin, whenever they visit temples and shrines of Japan.
2. A goshuin is a stamp received when visiting a temple or shrine. In addition to the stamp, some places also offer sumigaki, which are words written in black ink on the spot.
3. The tour will be accompanied by an English-speaking interpreter guide to World Heritage sites Ryoan-ji Temple and Ninna-ji Temple, and Kurumazaki-jinja Shrine, said to be a shrine for good luck in Arashiyama.
4. Participants will receive a Randen 1-Day Pass, so feel free to hop on and off the Randen streetcar even after the tour ends at Arashiyama!
