2. Pro wrestling is a kind of combat sport where wrestlers battle each other in a ring mainly for show. Locally known as puroresu, it has become one of Japan's most popular national sports alongside pro baseball and pro sumo wrestling since the debut of Rikidozan, said to be the "father of puroresu," in 1951. Like American and Mexican pro wrestling, Japan's pro wrestling matches are now enjoyed by people from all over the world through the TV and Internet.
3. A deathmatch is one of the styles of pro wrestling. Here, wrestlers fight under more dangerous conditions in a specially designed ring. Big Japan Pro-Wrestling is well-known for their unique deathmatches, such as their Fluorescent Light Tube matches (where hundreds of fluorescent light tubes hung around the ring can be used as weapons) and the use of barbed wire in matches.
4. Alcoholic drinks and snacks are sold at the event hall. We recommend watching the thrilling match with a refreshing beer in hand. (*Separate charges apply for food and drinks.)
