Hidatakayama Futari-Shizuka Hakuun

Located on high ground at the gateway to Shiroyama Park, to the east of Takayama. This cozy inn stands on a hilltop, offering sweeping views of the Japan Alps. Look forward to a breathtaking scenery of Takayama. On clear days, you can see as far as Kaga Hakusan.

Free Wi-Fi connection is available in the entire hotel. JR Takayama Station is a 5-minute drive from the hotel. A free shuttle runs between the hotel and the station between 15:00 and 18:00. Female guests can look forward to wearing colorful yukata (rental fee required).

On site is an indoor bath with a wooden tub where the delicate scent of cypress drifts in the air, and a large open-air bath with a cypress tub from where a panoramic view of Takayama can be admired. There is also a reservable open-air bath which may be used in a private session (additional fee required).
