- Baths
Ryokan Onuma features 2 alkaline springs. 1 of them is a pure alkaline spring that Ryokan Onuma has used as its own hot spring source since it was established. Even during the Great East Japan earthquake, when there was no power, this hot spring continued to flow naturally. The other spring is a shared alkaline/chloride/sulfate spring used by several establishments of the Higashi Naruko Onsen area. Alkaline springs are the representative of hot springs that have effects for beautifying the skin.
- Using the Lodging’s Private Baths
The lodging’s 5 private baths do not require a reservation.
The baths are fitted with locks, so when they are open, if you go in and lock it, you can enjoy private use. The heated floor steam bath, which uses the heat from the hot spring, is also a guest favorite.
- ‘Mori no Yu’ Private Bath
On the hill behind the lodging, there is a small, private open-air bath where guests can indulge in the bath waters.
Enjoy a state of refreshment for both mind and body from having a pleasant soak.

*For those that wish to use the ‘Mori no Yu’ bath, please either select a plan that includes access to the ‘Mori no Yu’ bath or make a request to use the bath at the front desk during your stay.
