Kyoto Townhouse: Suzaku Wakakusa-an

With a wonderfully atmospheric cobblestone road right outside its door, this townhouse is brimming with traditional Kyoto spirit and is available to rent for those looking to have a taste of the traditional. Nijojo Castle can also be reached on foot in roughly 20 minutes. Well connected to the rest of the city, with easy access to places like Arashiyama via Sanjoguchi Station just 8 minutes away and the JR and Kyoto Subway lines via Nijo Station. The house is a 2-storey wooden building (non-smoking) with LAN Internet access. After check-in and a short explanation of the facility, guests are free to come and go as they please - it's not so much "staying" like in a hotel, but more like "living" in your own Kyoto house! Meals are not provided, but guests are free to make use of the fully-furnished kitchen. Please try not to cook anything too smelly though! Amenities like shampoo, tea and coffee are provided.
