With its grand opening in 1988 as a distinguished local hotel in the heart of Kyoto, the Kyoto Brighton is a prestigious hotel located to the west of Kyoto Imperial Palace. The hotel conducted renovations of all guestrooms in 2010. It promises guests a relaxing stay, boasting spacious 36-42 square meter guestrooms which are popular among international guests. Large buses can stop right next to the entrance. Its relaxing lobby features an atrium style and extends up to the 6th floor (23 meters), allowing natural light inside.

Feel free to visit the Kyoto Gyoen (Kyoto Imperial Garden), only 300 meters away; the textile district Nishi-jin, which produces traditional Japanese textiles, is 800 meters away; the manga museum filled with more than 300 thousand books is 1 kilometer away, and; Nijo Castle, a World Heritage Site, is 2 kilometers away from the hotel.

In addition, as Dec. 31 - Jan. 4 is a special year-end/New Year operating period, please make an advance reservation by inquiring as soon as possible for those who are considering using the restaurant.

Hotaru: For breakfast, the hotel provides a menu that does not use any of the 7 allergen specific raw materials (egg, dairy, wheat, buckwheat, peanut, shrimp, crab) or the 20 semi-allergen specific raw materials (abalone, squid, salmon roe, cashew nut, orange, kiwi fruit, walnut, sesame, salmon, mackerel, soybean, banana, matsutake mushroom, peach, Japanese yam, apple, gelatin, beef, pork, chicken). Please make a booking by the day prior to use. *The 'Kujaku Zen' set meal is not covered.
Feerie: The buffet corner displays the 7 allergen specific raw materials used in the dishes. For more information, please speak to staff on the day.

The room was very spacious. We had more than enough space for a family of four with 2 large suitcases. The front desk, concierge, and staff were very helpful. The hotel is also very clean and bright. I highly recommend the Teppanyaki restaurant. The

房间以房间内的浴室都挺大的，工作人员也挺有礼貌。坐公共交通的话要走7-10分钟才有巴士站。不过不介意价格的话酒店大门好像无时无刻都有的士在。
