Kissho Yamanaka

- About 1 hour by car from Kanazawa. Located in Yamanaka Onsen, which has been open for 1,300 years, this is an elegant hot spring lodging along the scenic area of Kakusenkei Gorge.

- The Kaga restaurant Chihiro - exclusive to guests in guestrooms with open-air baths - features chair and table seating, Kutani ceramic ware and Yamanaka lacquer ware serving dishes, and special kaiseki course meals.
