Kagari Kisshotei

- About 1 hour by car from Kanazawa. Located in Yamanaka Onsen, which has been open for 1,300 years, this is a hot spring resort facing the scenic area of Kakusenkei Gorge.
- Guestrooms are primarily Japanese-style rooms that feature tatami flooring.
- There are guestrooms with open-air hot spring baths where guests can enjoy the view of the valley, Japanese/Western-style rooms equipped with Simmons beds, Japanese-style rooms facing the beautiful Kakusenkei Gorge, and more.

- In the women’s bath, female guests can enjoy a spectacular view of Kakusenkei Gorge in the rare, 1 meter deep standing open-air bath and indoor bath. The bath is also equipped with body towels for bathing.
- There are 2 types of private baths: a cypress bath and a rock bath. Reservations are taken at the front desk on the day on a first come, first served basis (requires a fee).
- After a soak in the baths, guests can enjoy cold barley tea (14:00 - 18:00), as well as a beer in the evening (16:00 - 18:00) or cold tokoroten jelly strips in the morning (6:30 - 9:00) free of charge.

- At Kagatobi, the restaurant with a spectacular view of Kakusenkei Gorge, guests can enjoy delights from the mountains and seas in hot pot kaiseki cuisine and more, as well as barbeque and seafood rice bowls in the summer.
- Along Yuge Kaido Street, which is located right in front of the ryokan, in addition to hot spring egg-making experiences, there are galleries for Kutani ceramic ware and Yamanaka lacquer ware, shops that sell sweet dumplings or croquettes, cafes, and more lined side by side. And along the ravine running parallel to the street, there is also a 1.3 kilometer promenade, where guests can enjoy strolls of Kakusenkei Gorge.
- For those with a car, this is a convenient location for visiting Eihei-ji Temple (40 minutes away), Kanazawa and its dinosaur museum (1 hour away), and the World Heritage Sites of Gokayama and Shirakawago (2 hours away).
