This ryokan is located directly in front of Gora Station, overlooking the Hakone mountain range. All of its guestrooms are fully equipped with a private open-air bath. Setsugetsuka also features private hot spring baths, a bedrock bath, and multiple dining rooms.
Please note that all stays at Setsugetsuka include two meals per night (dinner and breakfast). Dinner can be prepared at either 17:30 or 20:00. Please note that meals will not be prepared after 20:00.

Getting to the place was pretty easy, just quite a trip -- from the Odiwara station, the Hakone Tozan takes you there with one transfer on the same line. Once you arrive at the small GORA station, Hakone Setsugetsuka is only a short walk away. Check-in was

Service was below standard. There was minimum explanation when we checked in. No one led us to our room and no tea was served. We need to make the futon ourselves. Overall the least value for money Onsen hotel we ever had.
