This family-run inn is located mere minutes on foot to one of the Amanohashidate, one of the famous Three Views of Japan. Also just a minute's walk from Amanohashidate Station, it is a great base for getting around the area and sightseeing. This small, traditional B&B-style inn offers guests the opportunity to try the ryokan experience without any stiff formalities. Besides the warm, homey service and hospitality, guests will also enjoy the freshest seafood, carefully selected cuts of meat, and more in the cuisine served at Maruyasu, as well as special coffee. In addition to the delicious food and coffee, the inn offers a wide variety of sake, personally selected by the owner, who happens to be a sake sommelier. Bicycles are available for rent.
This small hotel features 6 Japanese-style rooms.
There is no elevator in the hotel.
Comfortable feather futons, towels and yukata are provided.
The baths inside the hotel are not pumped from a hot spring, but can be rented out for 1 hour as a family bath. Hot spring baths at another facility (Amanohashidate Chie no Yu) are reachable in just 1 minute on foot (JPY 600, admission until 21:00, closed Wednesdays)
Free uncovered parking lot.
Amanohashidate Station is about 2.5 hours from JR Kyoto Station and JR Osaka Station for a fare of about JPY 4,000, so this location is convenient for those heading to Kyoto and Osaka for sightseeing. Note that JR Rail Passes cannot be used on the Kyoto Tango Railway.

期待以上の美味しい食事と日本酒に感動しました。ミニプランでしたが、食事の量は十分でした。店長お勧めの日本酒は食事にマッチしていて、日本酒の味わい深さを体験できます。６人席のカウンターで店長の説明を聞きながら食事をするスタイルは、おもてなしの心を感じます。日本酒が好きなお方には一押しの斬新的なスタイルの食事だと思います。

価格、駅前、ピンクリボン賛同・お１人どうぞのタイトルに安心して、条件的に何気なく予約したせいか・・・、 洗練された空間、心遣いに驚きと気持ち良さを交互に感じる、思いがけず素敵な宿泊となりました。 このお宿の醍醐味、お食事＆お酒をお世話になっていたら、評価の★が足りなさそうな予感で、今度はぜひ、２食付きでお邪魔したいと思いました。
