Lakeside Sakuraoka

Lakeside Sakuraoka, which is shrouded in an abundance of nature, surrounds a lake where guests can enjoy canoeing in summer and fishing for Japanese pond smelt in the winter, and has a number of spots where they can feel the vitality of the seasons. From Kembuchi Station (JR Soya Main Line): About 10 min by taxi at around JPY 2,000 (as of Mar. 2017).
By car: Exit the Hokkaido Expressway at Wassamu IC and continue along Route 40. Look for the Lakeside Sakuraoka signboard on the right hand side.
From Wassamu IC, head north for about 15 km on Route 40. From Shibetsu-Kenbuchi IC, head south for about 10 km on Route 40.
