Isawa Onsen is a hot spring that sprang up in the middle of a vineyard about 56 years ago. Even now, there are vineyards in the vicinity, so when the season comes around, guests can enjoy picking a variety of delicious grapes. There are also wineries within walking distance, where guests can enjoy tastings and tours, and purchase wine. And throughout all four seasons, guests can also participate in various activities, such as strawberry picking, fireworks and cormorant fishing, touring around temples, shrines, and museums, and more.
Hotel Hatta has easy access - it is about 1 hour and 30 minutes by train from JR Shinjuku to Station to Isawa-Onsen Station (closest station) - so guests can easily come for a visit. This hotel is located about 15 minutes on foot, and about 5 minutes by car from Isawa-Onsen Station. There is also a shuttle going between Isawa-Onsen Station and Hotel Hatta (please check the Access Information).
