[Information for Hanamaki Minami Onsenkyo Free Shuttle Bus]

This is the shuttle bus for Hanamaki Minami Onsenkyo.
- This can be used round-trip, free of charge.
- When traveling from the stations to the lodging, the bus departs according to a schedule, so reservations are not available. Please leave enough time when traveling to the bus stop.
- When traveling from the lodging to the stations, please make a reservation at the front desk during check-in.

Exit the station’s west gate, and the No. 2 bus stop is on the right side.

Exit the main gate and there is an exclusive bus stop on the left side.

[Arriving at Lodging via Other Means]
Please check in by 19:00.
If you will be later than 19:00, please make sure to contact the lodging. (Provision of dinner is until 21:00)

During Stay
Rest at ease in spacious guestrooms with coffered ceilings.
While in the lodging, relax in yukata and slippers.
(Yukata for male and female guests differ in color. Please give notification of the number of male and female guests in the guestroom.)
Enjoy a soak in the 2 baths which feature their own atmosphere.
From June to August, enjoy a stroll around the garden with its fresh verdure and seasonal flowers.
Souvenirs are available for purchase at the shop.
At the lounge, coffee, local cakes, and more are available.

The lodging has 3 types of guestrooms: Japanese-style rooms, 2-room Japanese/Western-style rooms, and 3-room Japanese/Western-style rooms.
All guestrooms have coffered ceilings.
All guestrooms have a bathroom and washroom.
All guestrooms are not equipped with a bath or shower. Please use the communal baths.
All guestrooms have a refrigerator. Charges are required for the drinks in the fridge. Please pay for any drinks consumed.

Dinner
For dinner, guests will be served kaiseki cuisine in the restaurant.
(From 18:00 to 21:00)
*Support is available for guests with allergies. Please make requests and specify the corresponding number of people. Note that dashi (fish soup stock) or extract may be used in some dishes. Please also specify if these cannot be used.

Baths
This is a simple alkaline hot spring.
‘Toyosawa-no-Yu’ Large Communal Bath - Indoor bath & open-air bath
‘Komorebi-no-Yu’ Small Communal Bath - Indoor bath, open-air bath, and sauna
Bathing hours for both are until midnight and from 5:00 in the morning.
On Tuesdays, the small communal bath will not be available from 8:00 to 12:00 due to cleaning.
On Wednesdays, the large communal bath will not be available from 8:00 to 12:00 due to cleaning.
The large and small communal baths are gender-segregated. (There is no alternation by gender.)
There are no private baths.

Enjoy the viscous hot spring waters.


Breakfast
For breakfast, guests will be served a Japanese/Western-style buffet in the restaurant.

The menu features around 30 varieties.

Seasons
Yukaen is surrounded by nature, so guests can enjoy the seasonal scenery.

Spring: The flowers in the garden begin to bloom, turning into patches of bright colors over the span of about a month. During this time, many people come to stay at the lodging to drop by Tenshochi Park in nearby Kitakami City and see the gorgeous cherry blossoms.
Summer: The fresh foliage is simply stunning. Admire the garden landscape that stretches out across a vast area measuring 33,100 sqm (about 8 acres).
Rare plants and roses can be seen.
Autumn: The mountains surrounding Yukaen become vividly colored. Autumn leaves are colored in beautiful hues.
Winter: Although it becomes cold out, this it the best time for a comfortable soak in the hot springs!
In midwinter, the entire landscape turns into silvery white! Look forward to enjoying your time in a mystical world.

Guests on consecutive night stays are asked to leave their luggage in their guestrooms and head out. Guests cannot use the guestrooms during the day.
Main Building guestrooms do not have baths or toilets. The baths (2 available) are private baths with time limits.
Guestrooms in the New Building have their own bath and toilet.
Only 5 minutes on foot from JR Shin-Hanamaki Station. Only 3 minutes on foot to a convenience store.
On-site payments must be made in cash only.

The Miyazawa Kenji Memorial Museum, Dowa Mura, and Ihatov are at least 12 minutes away on foot. This is an ideal base for guests on business, sightseeing, mountain climbing, and those taking the Kamaishi Line.
