YAMAGATA THE TAKINAMI

Gotenmori

Tokyo Dai-Ichi Hotel Tsuruoka
The large communal hot spring baths in the Annex on the tenth floor are usable free of charge by hotel guests. They come highly recommended for when you need to relax and unwind, and feature a great view.

Kosekiya Bekkan
This traditional riverside inn is located in the center of the Ginzan hot spring resort and offers spacious two-room guestrooms next to the mountains or the river.

From Oishida Station (JR Yamagata Shinkansen Line) West Exit: Take the bus bound for Ginzan Onsen and get off at Ginzan Onsen (about 40 min). The hotel is about 10 minutes on foot from the bus stop.
By car: Exit the Tohoku-Chuo Expressway at the Higashine IC and continue on National Route 13 for about 25 minutes. Then take Route 347 and head for about 20 minutes. After arriving at Tsurumakita, turn right, and head for the Ginzan Bridge. Pass the bridge and turn right.

Biyu Bishoku no Hanareyado Onogawa Onsen Kajikaso

From Shonai Airport: Take the airport limousine bus bound for Tsuruoka and get off at JR Tsuruoka Station (approx. 25 min). About 1 min on foot from there.
By car: Exit the Yamagata Expressway at Tsuruoka IC and continue along Prefectural Route 332 for about 10 minutes (4 km).
