[Hot Spring]
Ride a cable car and admire the delightful scenery of one of Japan's top three secluded regions while heading down to one of the country's best hot springs. This hotel offers guests the chance to have a soothing soak in an open-air bath with hot spring water flowing naturally from its source, a rarity in Shikoku.
It takes about 5 minutes to the open-air bath approximately 170 meters below. Hop on the cable car and take a leisurely ride down the cliff on a 42-degree decline. Separate baths for males and females are filled with hot spring water that flows from the source. Take a relaxing soak and feel one with nature as you enjoy breathtaking views of the Iya River and the Iya Valley mountains right before your eyes.

From Kaifu Station (JR Mugi Line): transfer to the Asa Kaigan railway and get off at Shishikui Station. From there, it is 20 minutes on foot or 5 minutes by taxi. *There are only a few trains that run to Shishikui Station, so please make sure to check the train timetable before your trip.
By car: Exit the Honshu-Shikoku Bridge Expressway at Naruto IC and continue along Route 55 heading towards Shishikui Ohashi. From Tokushima City, drive south on Route 55 for about 120 minutes. From Kochi, drive north from Murotomisaki (Muroto Cape) for about 45 minutes.

Exit the Kobe-Awaji-Naruto Expressway at Naruto-kita and continue along Prefectural Route 11 for about 5 minutes (2 km).
