By car: Exit the Nishi-Meihan Expressway at Tenri IC and continue along Route 169 for about 8 km (about 20 min), then Route 369 for less than 1 km (about 1 min). Head towards Kofuku-ji Temple and Kintetsu Nara Station.

By car: Exit the Daini Hanna Expressway at Horai IC and continue along Route 369 for about 8 min, then Route 24 for about 1 min towards Kashihara. Take a left at the first set of traffic lights.

How to get there?
- From Osaka City Area to Shimoichiguchi Station (Kintetsu)
From Abeno Station: Head to Tennoji Station, transfer to the Kintetsu Railway, and take a Kintetsu limited express train bound for Yoshino to Shimoichiguchi Station (about 1 hr).
*When traveling from Kansai International Airport it is convenient to transfer at JR Tennoji Station.

- From Kyoto Area to Shimoichiguchi Station (Kintetsu)
From Kyoto Station (Kintetsu, JR): Take a Kintetsu limited express train (with a transfer at Kashiharajingu-mae) to Shimoichiguchi Station (about 1 hr 30 min).

- From Shimoichiguchi Station
Take a Nara Kotsu Bus bound for Dorogawa Onsen/Nakaiosumi to the Tenkawakawai bus stop (about 1 hr).

By car: Exit the Nishi-Meihan Expressway at Yamato Koriyama IC and continue along Routes 24, 169, and 309 for about 53 km (about 90 min). Exit the Shinkawaai Tunnel and turn right after the first set of traffic lights.
The Kashihara
Located near Kashihara Jingu Shrine.
How to get there?
From Kashiharajingu-mae Station (Kintetsu Kyoto & Kashihara lines), East Exit: 1 min on foot.
Kohryokuen Nishisei
Located in the hot spring town of Mt. Omine Dorogawa Onsen, this traditional Japanese-style inn offers a complete view of Mt. Omine's cloudy peaks. The inn's garden and bonsai trees add to the lovely scenery.
How to get there?
From Shimoichiguchi Station (Kintetsu Yoshino Line): Take a bus bound for Dorogawa Onsen to the Dorogawa Onsen bus stop (about 75 minutes). It takes about 8 minutes on foot from there.

Shogetsukan

Nara Royal Hotel

By car: Exit the Nishi-Meihan Expressway at Tenri IC and continue along Route 169 for about 40 min (15 km), then Prefectural Route 37 for about 15 min (7 km) towards Tanzan Shrine.

Ukawaya
This inn is good for sightseeing not just in the town of Ikaruga but also the ancient city of Nara, Asuka, and other destinations on the Yamatoji Line.
How to get there?
From Horyuji Station (JR Yamatoji Line): 15 minutes on foot. The city bus (Nara Kotsu) runs from the station between 10:00-17:00. When using the bus, get off at Horyuji-mae. The inn is about 5 minutes on foot from the bus stop.

From Ikoma Station (Kintetsu Nara Line): Take the Ikoma Cable Line to Hozanji Station. It is 3 to 5 minutes on foot from there. Please note that there are steps on the way from the station so guests traveling with heavy luggage are advised to take a taxi (about 5 minutes).

From Yoshino Station (Kintetsu Railway Yoshino Line): 10 min by car. Alternatively, take the ropeway, and it is 20 min on foot.
By car: 40 km from Nishi-Meihan Expressway Koriyama IC.
Yamabe Hotel
Located just 250 meters from Tenri Station, this fusion budget hotel and ryokan has excellent access for sightseeing in Nara and Tenri. PCs and TVs are equipped in all guestrooms with free internet. How to get there?
From Tenri Station (JR Sakurai Line, Kintetsu Tenri Line): Leave the station and follow the tracks north of the station for about 3 minutes on foot.
From Kansai Airport: Take the airport limousine bus directly to Tenri IC, or take the JR Kanku express to Tennoji Station. Then take the JR Kanjo Line to Tsuruhashi. From there, take the Kintetsu Line bound for Nara to Saidaiji. Finally, take the Kintetsu Tenri Line to Tenri Station. 3 minutes on foot from there.
By car: 5 minutes from the Meihan Expressway Tenri IC. Head south on Route 169, and take a right at the 3rd traffic light (seven eleven). The hotel is just past the elevated railroad.
