A good base to explore kamikochi. Scenery was awesome, with a view over taisho pond. Service and food were great as well. Definitely recommended

We found this hotel was great. The location was excellent with the bus stop right at the door. And situated right near the lake so we were able to go down at sunrise and watch the spectacular display of the mirroring of shadows on the lake. Also, it is rig

Taishoike Hotel provides amazing view and service. The entire area is really beautiful, both for hiking, relaxing and sight-seeing. I strongly recommend it - what an unforgettable experience!

The hotel is located write in front of the bus stop. However, it is not near that near Kamikochi bus terminal (5 min by bus, or 40 min walk). In my opinion, Taisyoike Pond is the most beautiful location in Kamikochi and staying overnight allows you to see
