This is a traditional ryokan in a great location: lots of sightseeing nearby or within an short commute, and it's easy to get there from the station using either a bus or a taxi. Location itself is rather quiet, so you shouldn't be worried about loud crowd

Stayed at Sakanoue for 2 nights and it was a great experience for my husband and i. The ryokan is located at a good location (walking distance to Kyomizu Temple and Gion) but yet still tranquil and peaceful. The kieseki meals and service were excellent. Wi

Lovely small ryokan with kaiseki dinner which was meticulously prepared (although difficult for kids). Service and location were lovely in Gion. Bathrooms could use renovation. We did not use the public baths.

My wife and I had a fantastic stay in this beautiful Ryokan in the old district of Kyoto. This was our first experience of traditional Japanese hospitality and the charming staff could not have been more helpful. The food was exquisite and really beautiful

We stayed for two nights in Sakanoue the first week of June traveling with our two elementary school boys . The location of this ryokan is amazing as it is right next to Muruyama Park and Choin-in Temple. You can also take a fun and eclectic walking path

第一次尝试传统的日式旅馆，很庆幸选择了坂之上，非常难忘的入住体验。所有的工作人员都非常热情友好，有几个女生的英文很不错，所以不用担心沟通问题。房间干净整洁，早晚餐都丰富美味，榻榻米睡得也很暖和舒适。旅馆离八版神社和祗园商业街都非常近，离清水寺也是步行距离。想要和服变装的可以让旅馆帮忙定，和服店走路也是5分钟之内。因为带的随身行李较多，所以往返jr站都是做的taxi， 大概15-20分钟。

民宿服務的人員都非常的友善，也盡可能回答我們的問題，不會因為日文不通就無法溝通。晚餐的餐點十分精緻，且是一道道菜送至房間內，真是辛苦服務的女將了。坂之上的地理位置非常好，離清水寺很近，又在山腳處，走到祇園也很方便。只可惜只待一晚，不然更能進一步體會她們的待客之道！

夕食の天ぷらが温かくなく、おいしくなかった。魚が臭くて食べられなかった。値段に見合った食事ではなかったと思う。 頼んだ事を、なかなかやってもらえず、全体的に対応が遅い。

酒店在祗园，地理位置非常好。晚餐不好吃，虽然样多，但是材料很一般，大人小孩儿都不爱吃。早饭还好。服务很好，离高台寺超级近，到清水寺只要走10分钟也能到的。

“최고였습니다.”
기념일이라 여러 검색을 통해 이곳으로 결정했는데, 매우 만족스러웠습니다. 직원분들의 환대는 지금까지 숙박한 호텔 중 가장 좋았습니다. 식사도 매우 훌륭하고, '맛있다'는 말은 당연하다. 보기에도 하나하나 정갈하게 차려져 있어 먹는 것이 아까울 정도다. 오래된 료칸이다 보니 최신식 설비를 선호하는 사람이라면 다를 수 있겠지만, 개인적으로는 문제없고, TV도 스마트폰과 인터넷도 가능했고, TV는 스마트폰과 인터넷 연결 단자만 있으면 된다. 어메니티는 필요한 최소한으로 구비되어 있었다. 전용 목욕탕도 깨끗하고, 매우 쾌적했다. (객실 내 목욕탕은 이용하지 않았다.) 이번엔 짐이 많아서 시설 접근이 조금 힘들었지만, 버스정류장에서도 멀지 않고 고다이지와 야사카 신사도 걸어서 갈 수 있는 거리다. 총평을 하자면, 아주 멋진 기념일을 보낼 수 있었습니다. 꼭 다시 이용하고 싶습니다. 정말 감사합니다.
