Didn't have a problem with the curfew.. However, you HAVE to hand the room key to reception EVERY time you leave, which i didnt feel very safe about.. <BR> Very close to train station. Nijo castle is definitely a must see as you're practically next

If you only want a good place to rest after sightseing this is perfect. It has a really good situation if you have the JRPass,5min to Kyoto Sta. The only problem I found: It haven´t got elevator.

Love the traditional layout of the room! There was this warm and cosy feeling! Very very homely! The most comfortable night spent in Japan, out of the 11 nights in other prefectures! Will definitely check in Kineya Ryokan again! =)

there was nothing really 'ryokan' about this hotel except the beds/futons on the floor. -0- charm, -0- character. no mention of the word 'ryokan' anywhere at the hotel, only 'business hotel'. also, staff were friendly but spoke NO english and there was cur

Conveniently located yet away from usual city bustle without being isolated. Downside, a little hard to locate if you are not familiar with the area, or a night owl constantly on the prowl due to the night curfew. Pleasant on the whole.

There is no elevator. It is difficult to drag heavy luggage up to the third level. There is also a strict curfew of 11pm, after which they will lock the main entrance.

near a train station and various convenience stores. rooms are quite spacious. although the staff do not speak english, they can understand what you're talking about. very near attractions like Nijo Castle and specialty shops

This hotel is very well located for sightseeing and in a calm and nice area too. It is also very easy to locate - Look at a sign on top of one building face to the JR Nijo station when exiting from the Taxi side. The bathroom was small and hot as we had a

The hotel is clean and fine. It is close by the JR train station, however, it is a little bit far from the most important turistic places of Kyoto. In addition, the communication is challenging because the staff does not speak much english.

This was a real gem. Well located to sights and rail. The staff, although with limited English were always willing to oblige.I would use it again. The only problem was finding it in the first place from Nijo station, as it is well hidden in a back street.

It is a family-run motel with a very friendly host. The location is perfect as it is within three minutes walk from the Nijo JR station. But be attentive to find the entrance, it is easily missed. the breakfast is wholesome and big. It is a perfect place

優點是交通尚算方便 離JR二条站不遠 住宿費用也不高 且主人很親切 缺點是位置要費點心找 沒有電梯對於有較多行李的人不甚方便且主人英語不太通

房間整潔乾淨，還算寬敞，距離JR二條車站很近，搭電車、地鐵、市巴士都很方便，旅館服務人員很親切貼心(似乎是家族經營)，整體來說很不錯，只是要注意晚上11點的門禁時間。

這是一家略微陳舊的旅店，傢俱雖然復古，個人覺得很有味道。 驚奇的是衛浴設備新穎，並且打掃得非常非常乾淨！大小毛巾、衛浴用品、洗髮精、潤髮乳、沐浴乳、乳液等一應俱全。 以日本旅店來說，雙人雙床房型的房間算蠻大，還有小陽台、免費停車位，這樣的價格在京都，CP值真得非常非常高。 某日回飯店時，老闆甚至提前幫我們把冷氣打開了，好溫暖窩心～ 唯一美中不足是門禁晚上11點，入住前應先住意到這點，如果不介意門禁的話，這是個超值的住宿選擇。
