We spent 2 nights at this beautifully renovated ryokan. We were told that the building existed already 300 years ago but became a ryokan 100 years ago. The recent renovations are breathtaking, mixing modern comfort with all the details of Japanese traditio

Highly recommended. Very accommodating, perfect, relaxing getaway. Having a private spa and full-body massage chair, along with the incredible food served made it a worthwhile experience.

Lovely hotel; amazing food; excellent service (although staff can speak very limited English but it should not be a problem if you have translation app on your mobile); recommended for couples looking for alone time and wanting to get away from hectic city
