Built as a residential annex of Inoue Kaoru, who was an active figure from the end of Edo Era to the Meiji Era, this hotel still remains much like how it was since long ago.
Inoue Kaoru served in several major positions in the Meiji government, and was said to have supported Western influences, which is evident in Seikoen. Built in the late Meiji period more than 100 years past, this remarkable accommodation is filled with designs showing a fusion of Japanese and Western architecture everywhere you look, from the drawing room to the stairs and the window railings.
Guests at this hotel will look forward to staying in a historic accommodation filled with the atmosphere of Meiji Period Japan.
