Absolutely was blown away by this ryokan!! I wanted an old fashioned style ryokan with a foresty outdoor onsen and I was so blown away when I saw the onsen and it had a waterfall on one side and a bamboo forest on the other! If you want modern, this isn't

This is my second time visiting this ryokan! It has really good value for money which is why I repeatedly have come here. The onsen is clean and well maintained and the public baths are very well equipped. Both times I've been there, it was very quiet and

“Ryokan with history and dignity”
It is an old-fashioned, dignified ryokan located in the valley of Okuyugawara. The meals are in moderate quantities, and the seafood and mountain foods served are very tasty. It seems that room meals are the basic rule, but since we were a group, we were allowed to use the dining room. We did not notice it at night, but from the dining room we could see the winter foliage shining in the morning sun, which was very beautiful. The hot spring water was plentiful and very pleasant, warming us to the core. I would like to use this hotel again if I have the chance.
