There was not enough spaces for shower before hot spring bath. It was not a good experience in a cold winter day. It's a bit far from the Kinrin Lake.

My cottage was just next to a trunk road. The public bath has poor changing facilities - one of them just have a row of plastic sheet to shelter from the cold. The 7 family baths are just small bath rooms built around the ryokan's car park and next to the

Sound proofing of the room was poor. Food was just OK but given the high price we paid, we would have expected a lot better. In short, it was not value for money.

“First snow in Yufuin, first trip for women in 38 years”
In 2021, the three of us were reunited for the first time in 38 years after graduating from a local junior college. Each of us was crazy about our jobs, and we seemed to have dreamed of each other for a long time. We never blossomed into big flowers, but we have steadily devoted ourselves to what we love to do, and here we are today. We were healed by the time we spent with each other, acknowledging each other. The warm hospitality, the delicious and elaborate food, the dynamic and wild bath, everything felt like a blessing. Thank you for a wonderful time. I thought I would never forget the view of the first snow on the kayabuki roofs.
