All rooms are fitted with baths, toilets, showers, air conditoners, televisions, and refrigerators. Guests will be able to have a nice clear-view of Mt. Yufu-dake on sunny days through the large windows of the ryokan. The Main Building is a 3-story Japanese-style building, however there is an elevator for guests who have difficulty with stairs. The open-air bath offers a wonderful view of Mt. Yufu-dake through the trees, and the communal bath is large and spacious. Enjoy local dishes - unique to the Yufuin area - comprised of rice, chicken, river fish, and fresh seafood. The kaiseki cuisine served has a seasonal menu which changes throughout the year.

Mebaeso had exceeded my expectations. The staff is excellent. The onsen is wonderful and the food and brilliant. The view from our room is beautiful. I will definitely come back again if I am back in the region

A tranquil place, really nice for the soul! Dinner is fabulous! And the outdoor rotemburo is very pretty. It is away from centre of the village so without a car you will need to walk. But it is a nice 15-20 min walk among the rice fields.
