Shintakayu is a wonderful onsen in the hills above Yonezawa. The final approach is up a gravel road and then you see the beautiful building and onsen baths spread around the property.There is a bath next to a waterfall and a few with a view out of the vall

“温泉”
控えめの夕食で予約したが自分には十分な量でした。内容もとてもよかったです。温泉は期待通りで晴れていればもっと良かったと思います。スタッフの方々の接客もとても良く、出張帰りにリフレッシュのため宿泊して大正解でした。スタッフの皆さん本当にありがとうございました。

“癒しの露天風呂”
木をくりぬいた浴槽の露天風呂は寝湯になり、温度も心地よく、混んでいなかったので、のんびりできた。

“秘湯感は最高です！”
宿までの道は急坂ですが道幅があるので問題無いです。ちょっと怖いけど秘湯感はバッチリです。お湯は最高です。特に貸切風呂が硫黄臭バッチリで、内湯も湯量が豊富で良かったです。又、根っこ風呂も趣があって良かったです。ちょっと残念だったのは女性のタヌキの湯と、眺望露天風呂の清掃がいまいちだった事です。食事は食べきれないぐらいでした。又、追加のステーキも美味しかったです。従業員の方々もとても気さくで良かったです。また利用したいと思います。
