The circuit-style Japanese garden offers the experience of seeing the subtle, natural changes throughout the four seasons. Here guests can see the red pine trees described in works by Ryotaro Shiba as well as the meeting place of the Meiji Restoration leaders, an important cultural property.
Hotel staff recommend checking in early and enjoying a walk through the garden.

    Iwa-no-yu Bath: The entire bath from the shower area to the baths themselves is made of stone and features a refined atmosphere.
    Sawaragi-no-yu Bath: Bathers will find everything from ceiling to floor made from cypress, giving the bath a pleasant aroma. The baths themselves however are made of granite.
    Byakko-no-yu Open-air Bath: A bath located next to Sawaragi-no-yu.

    Q: About family baths
    A: Ishin-no-yu Bath: This bath was constructed in the 1860s at the end of the Tokugawa Shogunate.
    Akebono-no-yu Bath: Constructed in 1998.
    Bathing time: Open from 15:00 to 9:00 the next day.
    Family baths are not on a reservation system. If the bath is open, guests are free to enter and lock the door behind themselves.
