WHile the rooms and ryokan are a bit dated, and getting to Kada is more challenging, the reason to stay here is the food. The village is an active fishing village and is not eye-popping beautiful--more rustic and humble. Ryokan and onsen are a little date

The hotel is a hidden jewel in Kada. Room is clean and the view is gorgeous. Staff are very helpful and friendly. Bath is well kept with a nice view of the sea. Food however was extraordinary! With almost 8 different courses for dinner with ingredients tha

夕食はスタンダードでしたが、質も量も満足できるものでした。追加料理もおいしそうでしたが、スタンダードだけで充分満足できるものでした。温泉もとろとろしていて湯上り後の肌触りも良いものでした。夜食のぜんざいもおいしくいただきました。

“Meals were delicious.”
We stayed here with our small children. All the staff were kind to us and the children seemed to enjoy themselves very much. The drinks in the lounge next to the front desk were delicious. However, we used the private bath and were told at the front desk that bath towels were provided, but only for the adults. I would have brought them with me to the bathhouse if I had been informed that there were no bath towels for children.... My son, who loves fish, was very pleased with the meals, and he gobbled up all the adult dishes. I would like to go back because he was smiling and saying that the breakfast here was delicious.
