This establishment was built in 1925. The ryokan (Japanese-style hotel) is in the center of town and surrounded by cedar trees. You can have a relaxing time in the large bath.

Room is clean and comfortable. Public bath has very beautiful view of waterfall and koi. The hotel gave us a ride to the bus station on check-out. We enjoyed the stay very much, thank you!

Travelled with family of 3. Superb service from all staff, very polite and helpful. Staff spoke decent english at the front desk. Hotel: good wifi, clean, smoking floor (we don't smoke) but can't really smell the smoke from other rooms, provided matcha

“Lots of stairs to the bathroom.”
I recently stayed here with my family. The rooms were spacious and the tatami mats were new and comfortable. However, there were many stairs to the bath (large bath), and my mother, who is elderly, gave up trying to enter the bath. （She took the hinoki bath in the room.) I went all the way to enjoy the hot spring, but I was disappointed that I could not enter the large bath.
