Totemo kanpeki na desu ( all was perfect) especially food presentation but also everything from the free shuttle, from and to railway st. to the staff, from management to house keeping. Nice interior decoration. We had a private exterior onsen : a must !!

Kashiwaya Honten is a wonderful place. Service and baths are both something you will never forget and dream about for a long time. Me and my wife truly felt like a king and queen living in a japanese palace.

残暑がきつく暑かったにもかかわらず、露天風呂がそうとうぬるい。 ４０度なさそうだった。折角の露天風呂付き客室でのんびり入ろうと思ったのに 大変がっかりした。

“I found a good inn.”
We stayed at this ryokan during our pilgrimage to Zenkoji Temple and the Kitamukai Kannon Temple. We are a couple who love to travel and have stayed at many inns, but this time we found the best one. The age range of the people who took care of us was unusually young these days, but I am glad that we were able to spend a very enjoyable time with their attentive service. We also enjoyed the delicious dinner and breakfast. We will use the hotel again next time.
