      This ryokan is in a perfect location for the Dewa Sanzan. Easily accessed by bus from Tsuruoka, and located close to Haguro-san and to the bus to Gas-san. The rooms were beautiful and the food great! The owner speaks English which helped a lot :)

      “広く使う事が出来ました。”

      月山に登りに行く為に宿泊しました。 大変楽しく過ごす事が出来ました。 泊まりの客が、少なかったのか隣の部屋に布団が敷いてあり、部屋を広く使う事が出来ました。

      “巡礼の旅の雰囲気が味わえる宿”

      羽黒山神社への参道沿い、周囲は宿坊ばかりの場所にあり、山門からは徒歩１５分足らずです。各部屋は襖で仕切られ（鍵がつけられています）、門前町の宿の雰囲気が味わえます。個室にも食事処にもエアコンはありませんが、ないほうが風情があって良いと感じるような環境でした。食事については、タイトルどおり、庄内の食を満喫できるメニューで、大変満足しました。

      “古き良き旅館、絶対また利用します”

      江戸時代からの宿坊が旅館を標榜し、精進料理を提供していただけます。料理は精進料理に詳しくない僕には濃い味付けながら、大変美味しくいただけました。朝ごはんも卵、魚なしで、全く不満なく久しぶりに完食しました。十何代目なのかご主人の接客も不必要なことはなく、過剰な語りかけもなく心地よいです。昔ながらの旅館で、隣とはふすま一枚です。ただ館内は非常に清潔。掃除は行き届いていて特記すべき事項です。トイレも風呂も狭いながら快適です。
