The first and second floors were remodeled and reopened in 2007. The building was constructed with a large amount of Akita cedar, delivering warmth and relaxation to the air of the hotel.

The owners were very kind, the very spacious and clean room and the food was really excellent. In brief, i recommend this ryokan deeply!

宿泊のみで宿特有のゴチャゴチャしたものがなくて良い。 宿のお二人も親切丁寧な応対で良かった。 傘を忘れて出発して羽黒山参拝時、宿から茶屋に連絡が入り帰りに受け取った。 次回、参拝する機会があれば利用したい宿である。

“Exceptional”
if you are looking for a luxury ryokan, this is the wrong place. But if you are looking for a very traditional one, with excellent local food, cosy environment and more than friendly service, this is the right place. Very convenient located to climb Haguro
