Following our GPS we drove to the hotel without any hitch. The hotel looks a little old from the outside but the tatami room is well kept. The room overlooks the lake and we could watch the fireworks from our room at 8.45 pm. Dinner was served in our room

The room was great - comfortable beds and a good size. Being close to the lake is fantastic; I was able to spend my mornings there. If you don't get breakfast included, there are a couple of very close convenience stores. Staff were friendly, and after ea

Easy access as it is within 3 mins walking distance from kawaguchiko station. Excellent view of Lake Toya and the nightly fire walk at night. The nearest attraction (Kachi Kachi Ropeway) is about 20 mins walk away.

The hotel was exremely disappointing. The staff were not helpful and a very noisey/ large speaker on the footpath opposite the room made an afternoon nap impossible. There should have been a warning to all international tourists about the room/service/food

Excellent value for the price. The hot spring baths are basic but very enjoyable, and the room was far more spacious and well-equiped than I expected. The view of the lake is lovely, and the staff are very helpful.
