Although situated in the middle of an onsen (hot springs) resort area, this ryokan has about a 6,600 sqm Japanese garden and you can enjoy the view from each guestroom as well as from the men's and women's baths. Guests can also enjoy kaiseki (traditional multi-course dinner) cuisine during each of the four seasons.

Difficult place for foreigners and I don't think they are very comfortable with non Japanese guests. We did okay because my husband speaks fluent Japanese but I am not sure how things would have gone without that and it was still difficult. They have multi
