The old established ryokan (traditional Japanese-style inn) is located in the center of Kinosaki Onsen along the Otani River which has a beautiful avenue lined with willow trees. It is best suited for sotoyu-meguri (visiting the outside communal baths).

Everything was amazing, huge room, lovely ofuro, delicious and copious food, great service. The only little thing was that the pillows where really hard so we didn't sleep as well as we could have. But it's in a great location and I would definitely recomm

Very nice staff.good taste of food,free hotel parking lot closed to hotel.room is big.all guest will get onsen pass to access pubic onsen.

Lovely little inn in Kinosaki Onsen. Polite and cheerful hospitality. Comfortable futon beds. Enjoyed the in house onsen and small outdoor onsen. We used the onsen pass (additional charge) to go onsen hopping. Good dinner and breakfast.

Very quaint ryokan. Great location in the middle of the main street with easy access to all the public onsens; in fact the ryokan is opposite the Yanagi no yu. Food is mediocre but service is warm. Inhouse onsen is very small and nothing to shout about, so

“First Kinosaki Onsen”
The inn had a traditional atmosphere. We had never been to any other hot springs, but this was the first time we had been to a hot spring resort that made us feel like going out for the first time. The bath was pleasant and the food was too much for us, but it was delicious and we ate it all. The staff at their posts were all calm, courteous, and pleasant.
