This time, even though it was New Year's Day, we were able to stay at a very reasonable price because we took advantage of the Aomori Prefecture discount. The inside of the hotel has a Showa-era atmosphere, making me feel very nostalgic. I am glad I was saved by the Aomori Prefecture discount.

The hotel is quite dated in an isolated area wherby the access to the hotel is pretty limited to either the JR bus from Hachinohe station or Aomori station or the hotel’s own bus from Hachinohe station. The room itself is pretty nice with a very Japane

The staff are friendly and helpful. Breakfast and dinner are high quality and well-served. Location near the lake is another advantage.

This hotel is old but staffs are professional and service is good. Dinner is good but breakfast is so so. The bath is ok. I must say again the staffs are all good and helpful. Thank you.

“Lake Towada was not visible.”
Booked the day before. 8/10 stayed. We finally arrived at night after a long wait due to the road closure along the Oirase River caused by heavy rain. It was a long family trip and it was difficult for the children to carry two suitcases, but the innkeeper just looked after them and did not help us at all, but only gave us a routine tour of the hotel. The good thing was that there was a grand piano on the lobby floor of the hotel, and we were allowed to practice on it. By the way, I felt sick from midnight after dinner and could not sleep much due to stomachache and queasiness, and could not eat anything the next day. The breakfast was poor. I think it should be improved. There is nothing I want to eat at all.
