This hotel is often used by groups. It seems that priority is given to groups, and the breakfast room is occupied by groups, making it very inconvenient for individual guests to use. Receptionist is not to the point. The air conditioner in the room needs to be cleaned and muffled. Breakfast food is cheap and needs improvement. The atmosphere on the street is decent for the Ikebukuro area.

From Ikebukuro Station, go straight down Sunshine Dori and turn just before the elevated railway tracks. The street is bright at night and there are drugstores and convenience stores, so it is safe and easy to get lost. The hotel is clean, comfortable, and pleasant to stay in. I recommend this hotel for its good value for money.

“Excellent location”
I stayed at the Grand Cinema Sunshine Ikebukuro for the purpose of using it. I never dreamed that a hotel would exist right next to a movie theater. We were able to leave our luggage at the hotel and really enjoy our stay without any stress, which we appreciated. The only thing I would like to mention is that the water temperature in the bathroom did not go up even when I turned it on, and although I was planning to soak in the bathtub, I gave up and took a shower. If this had not been the case, I would have given it a perfect 5 stars. I would definitely use this hotel again.
