We had a wonderful stay at this ryokan! Ms. Osone at the front desk was incredibly helpful and welcoming, and gave us a lot of insider information to make our trip even better! This is a very "woodsy" kind of ryokan - lots of what appeared to be tree trunk

“駅から歩きます”
お部屋も掃除が行き届いていて、好感がもてます。　大きな荷物が有る場合は、歩く距離が有る事だけ、少し覚悟すれば大丈夫です。旅館ですから、大きな声で騒ぐ事は無理ですが、個人的には、とても安心できる空間でした。

“［昭和］に泊まる”
玄関、廊下の灯りや窓の細工模様、部屋の天井（泊まったのは「末広」）など、昭和の職人さんの木材細工の技を見せていただいた感じ。都会なのに、和室でゆったり、家にいる感じでくつろげました。

“東京大学見学”
東京大学を目指す、甥と姪を連れ本郷三丁目の老舗旅館を探していたので、立地も旅館の雰囲気もまさに目的通りでした。旅館のスタッフさん達も親切で気さくに話してくれたのでとても満足でした。また行きたいです。
