Used as a base for pilgrimage to the Ise Grand Shrine, this Japanese ryokan's distinct feature is its collection of Japanese-style decor. Directly ahead is the Terrace Shioka garden where guests can enjoy watching cruise ferries coming and going, as well as seasonal scenery, to their hearts' content.
For guestrooms, guests can select from premium suites which feature open-air baths with a view of the Japanese garden, pleasant modern Japanese twin rooms with a harmonious blend of Japanese and Western elements, comfortable Japanese rooms with 2 adjoining rooms, calming authentic Japanese rooms, and more. Each guestroom is decorated with "Ise-katagami" - traditional handicrafts that boast of more than 1,000 years of history - and feature cushions made with Ise cotton.
For dinner, the hotel serves modern kaiseki, which is a fusion of Toba Hotel International's traditional French cuisine and Japanese cuisine.
Additionally, at the hotel's Pearl Aurora Bath - which was constructed in collaboration with Mikimoto Cosmetics of the Mikimoto Group, who successfully established the world's first oyster farm - guests can achieve pearl-like skin thanks to the blessings of substances that can only be extracted from pearls and Akoya pearl oysters.

I am very satisfied.”
The food was delicious and was made from Mie Prefecture products. The dishes were delicious, and the container and arrangement were wonderful. The takikomi-gohan is exquisite. Even though I was full, I wanted to have another serving. I wanted to soak in the pearl bath for a long time, and I felt great after being allowed to use Mikimoto cosmetics. The service is perfect. I was already 100% satisfied with my stay. Thank you very much.

Pleasant stay and enjoyed our time there. Helpful and courteous staff who helped us in all our enquiries. Would go back to stay if ever return to that part of Japan. Close to Toba places of interest

The food was not great, especially the fish for the dinner. The cooking style and fish quality is average. Fortunately the beef was good. For fruits, the hotel should have used better quality strawberry. The ones we bought (not expensive) from supermar
