    family trip”

I often visited Yunomine Onsen as a day trip to make boiled eggs in a hot spring tub and buy hot spring water. This was my first time to stay overnight. We stayed at Yunomine-so, which had the highest rating in a word-of-mouth survey, and it was just as good as the word-of-mouth survey. Thank you very much for the free hot spring bath. Great for a tired body!”

The food and hot springs were great after a long walk. The room and bedding were great. The food was very good and the portions were just right and moderate.

From the outside this ryokan has clearly seen better days. But once you enter it you will have great service and a clean room. Unfortunately smoking is allowed in the rooms, therefore the rooms can have a bit of a stale smell. The size of our room was okay

Good food and good service. Easy walk to town senate and Hongu loop walks. Don't be put off by shabby exteria. We saw some small monkeys from our room. Great value!

This was a lovely onsen. Though the interior is a little bit dated, the staff was extremely helpful and polite and welcoming, even to Japanese standards. It was a place I'd go back anytime.
