Hot spring baths and meals are available in the main building, which is a short distance away.”
We were able to use it for a bargain for one person for consecutive holidays. Although it is in the form of a slightly inexpensive annex with a relatively large bath and meals using the main building, umbrellas for liaison are also prepared, and although a little small, there is a full-scale hot spring bath in the building, so we were able to use it without much trouble this time in the rain. The room this time was for two people, but there was no bedding laid out, and we were able to use the room more spaciously by laying out one person when needed. Thank you again.

Third time repeater”
The quality of the dinner was low for a New Year's rate that was higher than the previous one.

Thank you for all your help.”
Anyway, I love the riverside open-air baths at Midoriya-san and visit once or twice a year. I like very much Matsutsuya-san, which is reasonably priced.

Unexpected Surprise”
I like Midoriya's open-air baths and come here every year. The day before, Mr. Matsuya contacted me and told me that he was going to do some construction work and that he would change my accommodations to Midoriya for the same price. When I first came to Kawayu, I was taken care of in a Western-style room at Midoriya-san, but I had moved to Matsuya-san ever since. The rooms at Midoriya were upgraded compared to Matsuya's, and we could go to the open-air bath and have meals without going outside, which was very comfortable. However, the meals were sad compared to last year, perhaps because of the small number of guests due to the self-restraint system. There was the famous grilled ayu (sweetfish), but the quality of the rest of the food was very poor. I hope that the coronation will be over soon. I hope Kawayu will be busy again.

Exceptional”
My husband and I stayed here for 1 night. I have marked the room as 4 stars because it was very small with nowhere to hang or store clothes BUT - it had a fabulous view, and what does small matter when all you do is sleep there. The staff were very welco
