This is a Japanese-style ryokan that provides such heart-touching service, it feels like you’re returning home.
As the lodging is just 3 minutes on foot from JR Takayama Station and the Nohi Bus Center, it is also a convenient location as a base for sightseeing around Shirakawago.

It is 10 minutes on foot to Takayama’s historic Old Town along Sanmachi-dori, Takayama Jinya, and the Miyagawa Morning Market. It is 20 minutes on foot to the Higashiyama Walking Course where guests can tour around cultural properties of Takayama.

A Japanese garden can be seen from Japanese-style guestrooms.

ご家族でやっているせいか、家庭的な雰囲気でよかったです。早めに出発するつもりが雨が強くなったので躊躇して、１０時近くの出発となってしまったせいか、支払いをしようとした時に誰も出てきてくれず更に出発が遅れる事態に…食後すぐ精算しておけばよかったです。

今回は春の高山祭ではなく、ユネスコ登録記念総曳き揃えを目当てに伺いました。夜の屋台曳き廻しを見物に行く際、夜風が寒いからと色々とアドバイスをして下さった女将さん含め、みなさんとても親切でした。またお世話になりたいと思います。ありがとうございました。

老舗なら対応とか旅館内の清掃がしっかりしていて欲しい！！汚いし不潔だし朝御飯の魚の中に髪の毛が入っていた！！せっかくの旅行で嫌な思いでしかありません！朝のお店も開店時間全然違っていました！適当な事を言うのはやめてほしいです。

趣きある建物とお袋か親戚のオバチャンのような女将さんのおもてなしに、まるで実家に帰ったようなアットホームな雰囲気でくつろげました。夕食も食べきれない程の豪華で美味しくいただきました。高山に行った際は、また利用したいと思います。

“目的は飛騨牛ｗ”
宿は、夕飯に飛騨牛を現地のお勧めを探して、朝食付きの安い所を探しました。少し古い感じのいろは旅館さんは、とても味があり、中庭がとても素敵でした。おかみさんも親切で優しくて、運転疲れを癒してくれる笑顔でした。中庭を眺めながらの朝食は、すっごく美味しかったです。品数も多くて、贅沢に感じました。次回は夕食付で、いろは旅館さんでゆっくり高山料理を楽しみたいと思いました。

大雪の影響で到着が大幅に遅れたにも関わらず、部屋食をご用意して頂き感謝感謝です。お酒の注文にも快く応じて頂き、おかげ様で高山の夜を満喫することができました！翌朝の朝食もボリュームたっぷり。古い街並みの散策も楽しかったです！また来たいですね。

“懐かしい感じがしました。”
決して新しくはないけれど、掃除も行き届いていて良い印象を持ちました。１０月にしてはとても寒い日でしたがエアコンとファンヒーターがあって助かりました。朝食の品数が多くてちょっと食べすぎてしまいましたが全体として大満足でした。
