This is a fantastic guesthouse in the beautiful small village of Ainokura. It is at the end of the village, 10-15 minutes on foot from the bus stop. The house is beautiful, the room was very large. The food at dinner and breakfast was absolutely marvellous

Lovely old home and food was great but you need to speak Japanese to fully enjoy the place. My limited Japanese got is by, but we didn't learn much about the history of the house or the village. The museum nearby was fantastic and very friendly.

The place was nice.food was superb. There is also a free massage chair. The owners were very kind though they speak little english, but that doesnt matter. They let you feel like you brought your mom along with you. Comforts of your own home.
