      “Recommendation.”

The outside of the inn didn't look like much, but when we entered the inn, it was very clean and the room was beautiful. Anyway, the food was delicious, and since we went as a couple, we ordered the wild boar hot pot for two, which filled us up. The service was also good!

      “regret”

The food was delicious, using local ingredients. However, I did not feel the hospitality of the staff, perhaps because of the Corona disaster, but there was not much talking to my child. No explanation of amenities either. The staff made small talk in the hallway. One of them went away and one of them stayed and looked at me without talking to me, which was very awkward. Also, we chose a special room with a room bath and were told that the hot water would stop at 23:00, but at 22:00 there was almost no hot water coming out of the faucet. Was it a faulty facility or a lack of explanation? The room was decorated with flowers, but the flowers were hung on the wall in a test-tube-like glass, and the inside of the glass was covered with mold-like algae, which was unsanitary. I would like the inside of the glass to be washed clean. It is a shame because the ryokan was a ryokan with fond memories.

      “Excellent”

Spacious room with great Kaiseki. Ryokan is a short walk to Amanoiwato Shrine and they offer shutter service to Takachiho Shrine for the night dance show. Onsen were a bit small if they have a full house, but better than not having one.

We really love this inn! We got the room with meals included and it was wonderful. We let them know one of us is vegan and they went out of their way to make a truly amazing vegan version of their already amazing dinner and breakfast. It was really touchin
