In between Shikoku pilgrimages, we went to Shodoshima. We were satisfied with the Setouchi local cuisine for dinner.

The view is nice, but the facilities are a bit old. The location is excellent as it is a national inn. The parking lot is a little far away.

港から少々離れてますが、高台にあるので眺めがよく、朝食時にちょうどエンジェルロードが出現してる風景をスマホカメラで撮影することが出来ました。 前日の昼間は時間があわずに水面下でしたので・・・。 また、大浴場の温泉はちょうど良い湯加減でした。

・従業員の方々がとても親切。バス停から歩こうと思ったが、電話があり迎えにきていただいたり、翌日の送迎の相談に乗っていただいたり。 ・食事がとても良かった。お値段に対して内容が豪華だと感じ、味も良かった。またお品書きがあったり、細やかな気配りがあったりと従業員の方もとても感じが良かった。 ・お部屋は昔ながらの宿舎、といった感じであったが、清潔であり、寝具も快適。お風呂も広くてよかった。 ・立地は丘の上にあり、またバスも本数が少ないが、本数の多いバス停まで連絡すれば迎えに来てもらえる。また丘の上から瀬戸内海の眺めが素晴らしい。 ・唯一洗濯機が故障していたのだけ残念でした。

“long-windedness”
We stayed in the family lodge, which is older overall, but located on top of a mountain with a very nice view. The kitchen is fully equipped with everything you need for cooking. We used the hot spring at the Furusato Village bathhouse. It is small but has a great view and I recommend the evening! The futon was a bit shaky and I got bitten by ticks, but overall it was good because of the view.
