      “Japanese-style room for 3 persons, 1 night, 2 days, 2 meals”

The lodging was nice and secluded. Meals, I personally think the quality of the food was good, but it may not be enough for those with a big appetite! However, I would have been happy if there was an all-you-can-drink service. The hot spring water was slippery and good, but the water was lukewarm. The shampoos with the scent of tea were good. Sightseeing information, I stopped going to the suspension bridge of a dream because I heard that there was 2 km on foot (laugh). Also, it takes 15 minutes to get to the Rainbow Observation Deck, which is famous for the photo of the Lake Station, either from the parking lot or from the station by walking up the stairs on the mountain road.

      “A Personal View”

It was my first visit in 35 years. I think the quality of the spring has probably changed since before, but I had the impression that it was more slippery, which was a bit disappointing. I think it is recommended for those who want to take a relaxing bath in lukewarm water, but not for those who like hot water.

      “excellent location”

Located right in front of the entrance to the Sunmatakyo Hot Springs, it is perfect for those of us who use public transportation. The exterior of the hotel is quaint and makes you feel as if you have come on a trip. The furnishings and atmosphere inside the hotel are also very nice. The rooms are spacious and comfortable, and the shelf just inside the entrance looks like a place to put trekking shoes and backpacks. I think it would be good for mountain hikers.

“Onsen ryokan with a relaxed atmosphere”

The Taisho-roman atmosphere was tasteful. The room also had incense (?) that burns by electricity. I was healed by the fragrance of the incense (?) that burned electrically in the room. I was very satisfied with the hot spring and the food, which was perfect. It was a short walk from the bus stop, which was very helpful. The building structure is like an apartment building, so when you leave the room, you are suddenly exposed to the outside air, so it was quite cold when I left the room in the morning and evening (I think it is better in warmer seasons). (It would be better in warmer seasons.) For entertainment, there was a small game corner, but no table tennis or karaoke, which was a little sad.

      “I could relax.”

At first I was puzzled by the lack of WIFI in the room and in the hotel, and the weak signal of the cell phone network, which did not allow me to connect to the Internet properly, but on the contrary, I was very relaxed by the extraordinary environment. Although it was the cheapest plan, the quality and quantity of both dinner and breakfast were satisfactory and very good. The room was described as a Japanese-style room in the reservation information sheet, but we were guided to a Western-style room. I would like to stay in a Japanese style room next time. The employees were all courteous and we received a pleasant reception.
