The hot springs here is said to have been discovered by a villager with a sickle in 1428, after which it became known for its medicinal qualities. The saline springs are thought to have an effect on injuries and gastrointestinal disorders. With a great environment for healing, these facilities are largely focused on medical treatment. 20 minutes by car to Zao Fox Village.

前日に思い立ち、料金とお部屋食に惹かれて予約しました。歴史のある旅館ですが、清掃が行き届いており、清潔感のある印象でした。お部屋は一番小さなところ（多分）ですが、夫婦と２歳の子供１人には十分な広さです。畳にテーブルと椅子、という組み合わせは珍しく感じましたが、子供の手の届かない高さはかえって好都合でした。ベビーチェアや小さなちゃぶ台も用意されており、子供連れには温かい配慮を感じました。また、お風呂にベビーバスやシャワーチェア、ベビーソープが用意されていたのも、非常に助かりました。ご飯はお魚メインで名物の温麺などもあり、とても美味しかったです。皆さん気さくで温かいおもてなしをして下さり、大満足な宿泊となりました。

チェックインから担当してくださった女性の方の真摯な対応は良かったです。部屋はリニューアルしていますが多少変かなと思いました。通常の座椅子、テーブルでは無く椅子テーブルです。畳なので違和感があり、トイレは入り口の横から入るべきで、部屋の中にある感じがします。夕食、朝食共品数は多いし、料理長の工夫は感じます。しかし、何か足りない感がしました。内風呂は少し狭いです。露天風呂は朝方入りました。目の前に木々が映えますが奥行きがありません。お願いですが、網戸の点検お願いします。夜、室内の蛍光灯に羽虫や蛾が何匹もいて布団に落ちた所を何匹も捕まえてゴミ箱に処理しました。価格から考えると多少割高かなと思います。

風呂が小さいのが残念でした。また部屋やトイレのドアの出入りが面倒だった。館内に土足で入れないほうがいいにでは。

主人との二人旅、部屋で食事ができる所を探しており、こちらの宿を見つけました。 お部屋も可愛くこじんまりとリニューアルされており、二人で過ごすには十分でした。 三ヵ所にあるお風呂全て入り、お肌もすべすべ☆ 夕食も結婚式場のフルコース風に手が込んでおり、美味しかったですが、欲をいえばゆうもう少し和風な感じで、素材が生きる味の方が良いと思いました。 朝食はおかずが盛りだくさんでしたが、ちょうど食べきれる位の量で、美味しく頂きました。 マッサージや娯楽場がないのが寂しく感じましたが、のんびりと静かな時間を満喫して来ました。
